There is a Sanskrit saying about Ghee that states: “you must eat ghee even if you have to borrow money to buy it.” One of Ayurveda’s most treasured foods, ghee has incredible healing properties.
The below has become my go-to-ghee-mix. A personal favorite and a fine way to calm the mind and sooth the soul. I hope you find this warm creamy blend as calming and gently energizing as I have.

½ tsp turmeric
1 cup cows milk
1 tsp honey
½ tsp ghee
pinch cardamom / cinnamon powder
- Put milk, cardamom and turmeric into a small saucepan. Heat over medium high heat until boiling.
- Reduce heat immediately to low and simmer for 5 minutes. Pour into cup and stir in the ghee
